HP Warranty & Redemption Portal — Terms of Use

1. Introduction

  1. These Terms of Use for HP Warranty and Redemption Portal (“Microsite”) provide details about HP’s warranty and redemption process solely for the purposes of HP-branded products (“Eligible Products”) and solely for customers who have purchased the Eligible Products (“Eligible Users”).
  2. Users accessing this Microsite, acknowledge and agree that their accessing this Microsite is subject to these Terms of Use, as well as the general Terms of Use and Privacy Policy available on HP’s website.
  3. The Microsite is solely intended to facilitate a convenient process for Eligible Users to activate their product warranty and redeem any promotional rewards for the Eligible Products and may not be used for any other purposes by any users.
  4. HP reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use from time to time without prior notice to the users of the Microsite.

2. Warranty Registration

  1. Eligible Users are required to include details about the Eligible Products on the Microsite and submit the information for warranty registration.
  2. Upon submission, an OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to the Eligible User’s registered email address for verification. The warranty registration will only be processed after successful OTP verification.
  3. Eligible Users will receive an email confirmation once the warranty registration has been successfully completed.
  4. Serial numbers for Eligible Products that have already been activated or used cannot be registered or claimed again under another registration or promotion offered by HP.
  5. Warranty coverage and duration are determined based on the type of Eligible Product, as specified in HP’s official warranty policy.

3. Promotion and Voucher Redemption

  1. HP may offer promotional vouchers, redemption programs, or gifts (collectively “Promotions”) from time to time on the Microsite.
  2. Redemption of Promotions is subject to availability, program cap, and shall be on a first-come, first-served basis.
  3. An Eligible User must submit their redemption claim within seven (7) calendar days from the date of Eligible Product purchase and include both the proof of purchase as well as the Eligible Product’s serial number.
  4. HP reserves the right to verify the authenticity of each purchase and reject any fraudulent, duplicate, or invalid claims.
  5. Promotion eligibility applies only to purchases of Eligible Product made through HP-authorized resellers.
  6. Promotion details, terms, and eligibility criteria may differ between countries or regions, depending on HP’s local programs and offers.
  7. For detailed terms and conditions applicable to each promotion, please refer to the specific terms and conditions published on HP’s website or materials relating to the Promotion. In the event of any inconsistency or conflict between these Terms of Use and any local or program-specific terms, these Terms of Use shall prevail to the extent of such inconsistency.
  8. In the event of misuse or fraud by an Eligible User, HP may cancel and/or terminate the Promotions with no notice and with immediate effect.

4. Claim Limitations

  1. Each Eligible Product’s serial number may only be registered and redeemed once for any Promotion.
  2. Lost, stolen, or expired vouchers will not be reissued, replaced or extended.
  3. HP is not responsible for any delay, loss, or error resulting from inaccurate submission, network issues, or email delivery failure during registration or redemption.

5. HP Authorized Resellers

  1. Purchases made through unauthorized channels, unofficial online platforms, or unverified third parties are not eligible for Promotions.
  2. Customers must verify reseller authorization through HP’s official website or customer support channels.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

  1. By agreeing to these Terms of Use you acknowledge that HP will process Eligible Users’ personal data to provide the Microsite. With your consent, HP may also process personal data for additional purposes as specified in the collected consent. HP will handle all personal data in accordance with HP Privacy Statement available at www.hp.com/privacy. Eligible Users can exercise their privacy rights through the contact form available at https://www.hp.com/us-en/privacy/ww-privacy-form.html.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL HP BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF REVENUES, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF GOODWILL, LOSS OF USE, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER , ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY RELATED TO THE MICROSITE INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, USE, INABILITY TO USE, OR THE RESULTS OF USE OF THE MICROSITE OR ANY CONTENT OR OTHER MATERIALS MADE AVAILABLE VIA THE MICROSITE OR OTHERWISE IN CONNECTION WITH THE MICROSITE, OR SECURITY BREACHES OR ERRORS RELATED TO THE MICROSITE, WHETHER SUCH DAMAGES ARE BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STATUTE, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, AND EVEN IF HP HAS BEEN ADVISED OR SHOULD HAVE KNOWN OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. ALL ELIGIBLE USERS FURTHER AGREE THAT, EXCEPT AS PROHIBITED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL HP’S AGGREGATE MAXIMUM LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF ANY KIND OF CLAIM IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH THE USE OR ACCESSING OF THE MICROSITE EXCEED THE EQUIVALENT OF US$5.00.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Use shall be construed under, and governed by, the laws of Singapore, without regard to its choice of law principles or conflict of laws rules. The parties hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

9. Entire Agreement & General

  1. These Terms of Use and other applicable HP terms expressly referenced in these Terms of Use, constitute the entire understanding between each Eligible User and HP relating to use or access of the Microsite and shall supersede any previous communication, representation or agreement whether oral or written.
  2. HP’s failure to exercise any right under these Terms of Use will not constitute a waiver of such right.
  3. An Eligible User may not assign these Terms of Use by operation of law or otherwise. All HP affiliates are third-party beneficiaries with respect to the provisions in these Terms of Use. Except as expressly provided in these Terms of Use, a person who is not a party to these Terms of Use (as effective between the Eligible User and HP) shall have no right under the Singapore Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 to enforce any term of, or enjoy any benefit under, these Terms of Use.
  4. The section titles in these Terms of Use are for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect.
  5. If any provision of these Terms of Use is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the parties agree that the court should endeavour to give effect to the parties’ intentions as reflected in the provision, and the other provisions of the Terms of Use will remain in full force and effect.
  6. All terms in these Terms of Use that by their nature would survive termination (including, but not limited to, those related to the HP Parties’ liability and to applicable law and venue) will survive termination.

Syarat dan Ketentuan Penggunaan Portal Garansi dan Penukaran HP (“Microsite”)

1. Pendahuluan

Syarat dan Ketentuan ini mengatur penggunaan Portal Garansi dan Penukaran HP (“Microsite”) yang dikhususkan untuk proses garansi dan penukaran produk bermerek HP (“Produk yang Memenuhi Syarat”) oleh pelanggan yang telah membeli produk tersebut (“Pengguna yang Memenuhi Syarat”). Dengan mengakses Microsite ini, pengguna dianggap telah menyetujui Syarat dan Ketentuan ini, serta Syarat dan Ketentuan Umum dan Kebijakan Privasi yang tersedia di situs resmi HP. Portal ini hanya bertujuan memudahkan aktivasi garansi produk dan penukaran hadiah promosi, dan tidak boleh digunakan untuk tujuan lain. HP berhak mengubah Syarat dan Ketentuan ini sewaktu-waktu tanpa pemberitahuan sebelumnya.

2. Registrasi Garansi

Pengguna yang Memenuhi Syarat wajib mengisi data produk di Microsite dan mengirimkan informasi untuk registrasi garansi. Setelah pengiriman, OTP (One-Time Password) akan dikirim ke email terdaftar untuk verifikasi. Proses registrasi hanya dilanjutkan setelah OTP berhasil diverifikasi. Konfirmasi registrasi akan dikirim melalui email. Nomor seri produk yang sudah diaktifkan atau digunakan tidak dapat didaftarkan ulang atau diklaim untuk promosi lain. Cakupan dan durasi garansi mengikuti kebijakan resmi HP.

3. Penukaran Promosi & Voucher

HP dapat menawarkan voucher promosi, program penukaran, atau hadiah (“Promosi”) di Microsite. Penukaran promosi tergantung ketersediaan dan berlaku sistem siapa cepat dia dapat. Klaim penukaran harus diajukan dalam waktu tujuh (7) hari kalender sejak tanggal pembelian, disertai bukti pembelian dan nomor seri produk. HP berhak memverifikasi keaslian pembelian dan menolak klaim yang tidak valid. Promosi hanya berlaku untuk pembelian melalui reseller resmi HP. Detail dan syarat promosi dapat berbeda di tiap negara atau wilayah. Jika terjadi perbedaan antara Syarat dan Ketentuan ini dan syarat promosi lokal, maka Syarat dan Ketentuan ini yang berlaku. HP dapat membatalkan promosi tanpa pemberitahuan jika terjadi penyalahgunaan atau kecurangan.

4. Batasan Klaim

Setiap nomor seri produk hanya dapat didaftarkan dan ditukarkan satu kali untuk promosi apa pun. Voucher yang hilang, dicuri, atau kadaluarsa tidak akan diganti. HP tidak bertanggung jawab atas keterlambatan, kehilangan, atau kesalahan akibat data yang tidak akurat, masalah jaringan, atau kegagalan pengiriman email.

5. Reseller Resmi HP

Pembelian melalui saluran tidak resmi, platform online tidak resmi, atau pihak ketiga yang tidak diverifikasi tidak memenuhi syarat untuk promosi. Pelanggan harus memverifikasi status reseller melalui situs resmi HP atau layanan pelanggan.

6. Privasi & Perlindungan Data

Dengan menyetujui Syarat dan Ketentuan ini, pengguna mengizinkan HP memproses data pribadi untuk keperluan layanan Microsite. Data juga dapat digunakan untuk tujuan tambahan sesuai persetujuan yang diberikan. Semua data pribadi akan dikelola sesuai Kebijakan Privasi HP di www.hp.com/privacy. Pengguna dapat menggunakan hak privasi melalui formulir di https://www.hp.com/us-en/privacy/ww-privacy-form.html. Data hanya digunakan untuk registrasi garansi, verifikasi promosi, layanan pelanggan, dan kepatuhan hukum.

7. Batasan Tanggung Jawab

Sejauh diizinkan hukum, HP tidak bertanggung jawab atas kerugian pendapatan, keuntungan, reputasi, gangguan bisnis, atau kerugian tidak langsung lainnya yang timbul dari penggunaan Microsite. Total tanggung jawab HP tidak akan melebihi US$5.00.

8. Hukum yang Berlaku & Penyelesaian Sengketa

Syarat dan Ketentuan ini diatur oleh hukum Singapura. Segala sengketa akan diselesaikan di pengadilan Singapura.

9. Ketentuan Umum

Syarat dan Ketentuan ini merupakan keseluruhan perjanjian antara pengguna dan HP terkait penggunaan Microsite. Kegagalan HP menegakkan hak tidak dianggap sebagai pengesampingan hak. Pengguna tidak dapat mengalihkan Syarat dan Ketentuan ini. Jika ada ketentuan yang dianggap tidak sah, ketentuan lain tetap berlaku.
